Fujitsu Components America, Inc. has once again expanded its automotive rely offering, launching a 14VDC PCB option that is ideally suited to applications where space is limited. With the capability to switch 30A of current in a very compact, plastic-sealed package, measuring 6.6 mm x 13.7 mm x 14 mm, the FTR-G3 is the world’s smallest available automotive relay in the 30A class.
Coupled with its 30A fuse rate, relay’s space-saving dimensions make it an ideal fit for the control of power windows, defoggers, seat heaters, lamps, and wipers. It also offers a high contact capacity (minimum 100,000 operations at 14VDC 30A) and operates at a wide range of temperatures, from -40oC to 125oC. Rated power consumption is approximately 640mW at 20oC.
The RoHS-compliant relay employs a 1 Form C or 1 Form A contact arrangement for high reliability. Through-hole soldering is an option.
