TDK Corporation announces the introduction of the 300W TDK-Lambda iEH series of isolated DC-DC converters. Featuring digital non-linear adaptive control, these converters provide better dynamic performance, improved system stability and reduced component count.

Operating from a 48VDC nominal input, the iEH series can provide output voltages of 9.6 to 12V with currents up to 33A. The series is designed to meet a wide range of applications, including Information & Communication Technology (ICT) equipment, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, measuring equipment and general industrial equipment.

The converters are in the industry standard eight brick package and include a baseplate with mounting holes for use with an external heatsink. Optimization of components using digital control enables up to 192W of output power with only 200LFM airflow in an 85oC ambient.

Input to output isolation is 2,250VDC and input to baseplate is 1,500VDC. All models feature remote on/off, over current, input under/over voltage protection, output over voltage protection and over temperature protection.

TDK Corporation announces the introduction of 50W models to the five year warranty TDK-Lambda RWS-B series of AC-DC power supplies, designed to provide solid performance at an economical price. The product line up now has five power levels and compact case sizes, including 100, 150, 300 and 600W.

Operating from a universal input of 47-63Hz, 85-265Vac (300Vac for 5 seconds), the

RWS50-B series is available with nominal outputs of 5, 12, 24 and 48Vdc with an adjustment range of a minimum of +/-10%. The series is designed to meet a wide range of applications, including industrial, test & measurement, broadcast, communications and LED signage.

The convection cooled 50W models operate from -10oC to 70 oC with derating above 40 oC. In addition over voltage and over current protection is included.

High operating efficiencies of up to 88% reduce internal waste heat and component temperatures, resulting in electrolytic capacitor service life ratings of at least ten years.

The TDK-Lambda RWS-B series is certified to the safety standards of UL/CSA 60950-1, UL508 (on certain models), is CE marked according to the Low Voltage, RoHS2 Directives, and additionally evaluated to EN 60950-1. All models offer curve B conducted and radiated performance to EN55011/EN55022-B, FCC class B and VCCI-B.
